Dear Nutro,
I think it is important to inform companies of the effect their product has on their consumers. I personally run a large retail home improvement design center and appreciate my customers taking the time to let me know their opinions, especially when it is a positive response.
Our black Labrador, Max, is 11.5 years old and has been, as you would imagine, a great dog, very true to his breed. We started him on Science Diet as a puppy and have been consistent until three months ago. Two years ago, Max was diagnosed with Cushins disease. They informed us within two years he would be truly a physical mess. They wanted to do biopsies, CAT scans, MRI's, and monthly medication that would make him more comfortable, but would never cure him. He has lived such a great life that we decided not to medicate and let him live out his days naturally. Shortly after the diagnosis, he started to develop bald patches. The patches progressed everywhere, from the ribs on back. Over fifty percent of his back under the thin top hairs were balding. Very attractive!! He was also developing more weakness in the back legs and would drop when trying to walk. We figured he would continue to progress as we were advised.
On a trip to Petsmart in Aliso Viejo, CA a Nutro representative was helping customers in the aisles. We started chatting and he recommended Nutro's Sensitive Stomach for Max and thought it might be good for him. Max has now been on the food for about three months. Let me give you an idea of what has happened with Max. His hair has completely grown back. I mean, NO BALD SPOTS!! Plus, his fur looks great, nice and shiny. His back legs are stronger and he looks younger. Even our neighbors have noticed. I can attribute it to your food. I figured the change in vitamins and minerals must have filled a deficiency in him. We are not really concerned with why, but we are thrilled with the results.
Thank you for your products. I truly feel your food is making a huge difference in our dog's life. We thank you and Max, if he could, would thank you as well. Keep up the great work.
Sincerely,
Cindy & Mike
